All EIG Owned Hosting Companies

Endurance International Group – As Full As Possible List of Hosting Companies and Brands

I really don’t know what is the nefarious purpose behind the acquisition of these companies, but I’m certain that there is one. The systematic destruction of them all isn’t supposed to be accidental. All of these companies, listed below, were independent at first, they had quality services, now they are all bought by this company.

EIG, operates behind curtains.

They leave the companies to operate under their own name (brand), without any mention of the fact that they are under management of the EIG. The EIG page on Wikipedia is constantly edited to exclude companies that are operating under the ownership of EIG.

The list I am providing is not complete. It has been assembled and compiled from various sources on the Internet, but mainly from sources on WebHostingTalk and various Press releases.

Why that happens I do not know. What I do know is that some time after the acquisition of every company listed here, they start to transfer websites to their Data Centers. And that, my friends, is one big hellhole of tragically destroyed dreams. Server speed is terrible, page load times degrade, support staff lose their brain power (and constantly repeat “The problem is not at our end”), etc. There are so many horror stories around the Internet about this company, that its quite impossible to ignore them.

I must admit that not all of them are equally terrible.

Arvixe was bought on 31. October 2014. And in 1 year they moved from outstanding to pure crap. You can read about it here.

HostGator is holding ground for now. My review of HostGator

1&1 is also trying to stay on my positive side. Barely.

A Small Orange….. I was emotionally attached to this one, and after all that time we had, and all memories I have with them, I will not post the negative review that they deserve. I have deleted the post entirely, and I will not speak about them again. Ever.

I will be updating this list when appropriate. If you have any additions to the list, shoot me an e-mail, you can find it here , and I will add them.
