The new year 2017 is in full swing, and boys and girls at NameCheap are once again at the frontlines, helping defend our online privacy and Internet freedom.
Read on to learn how can you be a part of this effort and save big on domain transfers and hosting plans. As an added bonus, NameCheap will donate to electronic frontier foundation on your behalf.
Move Your Domain Day is January 27
As you already know NameCheap has always been on the side of free and open Internet. If you are like me, and you care about online privacy rights and you hate Internet censorship, feel free to join us for the fourth annual Move Your Domain Day on January 27.
This initiative was launched to fight and oppose SOPA, a bill that would have introduced censorship on the web.
Move Your Domain Day began on December 29th, 2011 when NameCheap and Reddit users teamed up to spark a mass exodus from registrars and hosting companies that were pro-SOPA.
Every year since then, NameCheap has hosted an annual Move Your Domain Day, raising funds for the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF)
